Aggregate Point System

Junior Aggregate Awards

Each year the SBA awards junior players based on performance and participation in the Junior Series Tournaments.  At the end of the season, after the Provincial Championships held in Regina, the SBA presents prizes to the top 8 point winners in each of the age categories.

The points for this years Junior aggregate awards will be as follows:

Players must participate in a minimum of two (2) major tournaments, one (1) minor tournament and must attend the Provincial Championships in Regina after which points from all tournaments will be included. Players must participate in at least 2 of the 3 events in each tournament to qualify.
Participation in any major or minor tournaments will earn 30 points.

Major tournaments for the 2017/2018 season are being held in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina. Minor tournaments are being held in Regina (CrossCourt Jr) and Melville.

In the case that only two players or teams participate in an event, they will play to determine 1st and 2nd place and be awarded 100 and 75 points respectively for a major event and 50 and 35 points respectively for a minor event.  In the case that only one player or team are entered in an event, the event will not be played, and the player or team will be awarded 100 points for a major event and 50 points for a minor event.  These players will then be entered into a draw in the next age group up.
